About Mehdi Naqvi

Mehdi Naqvi is an Economics and Maths tutor, academic coach and education consultant based in Marylebone, London, working with families across the UK and internationally. He holds First Class Honours in Economics from UCL and is a former Head of Economics and Further Maths at a leading London sixth-form college. Over more than twelve years he has built a 100% A/A* record at A-Level and a 100% grade 8-9 record at GCSE, teaching students from Eton, Westminster and St Paul's to state schools, and internationally from Dubai to Hong Kong.

He was a strategy consultant at EY-Parthenon, in its education practice, giving him an unusual top-down view of the schools market, and he founded a London tuition agency of more than thirty tutors, which partnered with schools through the National Tutoring Programme. An Animas-trained coach with a professional-level tennis background, he combines subject expertise with performance psychology.
